Every good kitchen runs on mise en place: everything prepped, checked and in its place before service starts. Then you walk into the office and find the opposite: a drift of supplier invoices, credit notes someone promised on the phone, a statement that doesn’t match, and an evening of typing between you and an up-to-date Xero.
Meezly exists because we run venues too, and we got tired of that evening. It started as an internal tool inside a multi-venue hospitality group, built to read our own suppliers’ messy invoices, catch our own price rises, split our own central-kitchen costs, and keep our own Xero current. It earned its keep there before it ever had a marketing site.
What we believe
The operator stays in charge. AI reads and checks; a human approves. Every invoice passes a review screen before it goes anywhere near your books.
The detail is the product. Totals tell you what you spent. Lines tell you why: which prices moved, which credits never arrived, which venue is really carrying the cost. So we read the lines. A quiet line-price rise is the classic case — the total looks fine, the line has moved, and the flag belongs on the review screen, not in a quarterly surprise.
Calm software. No dashboards shouting at you, no urgency theatre. The job is to make Tuesday quieter. When everything is handled you should hear exactly that: all clear, everything in its place.
Where we are
Meezly is built in London for UK hospitality: VAT-aware, Xero-first and priced for independent operators, from a single café to a growing group.
