This policy explains what data Meezly collects, why, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what’s needed to run the service (your account details and the supplier documents you send us), and we don’t sell it or use it for anything else.
What we collect
Account data: your email address and password (stored as a secure hash), and the venue and supplier details you add.
Documents you send us: the invoices, credit notes and statements you upload or email in, and the structured data extracted from them (suppliers, line items, prices, totals).
Service data: basic technical logs needed to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
To provide Meezly: reading your documents, checking prices, matching statements, and filing bills to Xero when you connect it and approve them. Documents are processed with Anthropic’s commercial AI API, which does not use API data for model training by default. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business’s data to market to anyone.
Where it lives
Your data is stored with our hosting providers (Supabase and Vercel) with account isolation enforced at the database level and documents held in private storage. Email intake is processed by Postmark. Each provider processes data only to provide their service to us.
Your choices and rights
You can export your data, correct it in the app, disconnect Xero at any time, and delete your account, all from Settings. Deletion signs you out immediately and permanently removes everything within 30 days; you can cancel any time before then by signing back in. UK GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) apply; contact us if you need anything beyond what Settings covers.
