Draft bills in Xero, without the typing
Xero is where your accounts live; the paperwork just has to get there. Meezly turns approved supplier invoices into Xero draft bills (line items, VAT and venue tracking included) so the books stay current without anyone retyping a delivery note.
Get startedDraft bills, done properly
Every approved invoice arrives in Xero as a draft bill with the detail preserved: supplier, date, line items, VAT treatment, total. Draft means your existing controls stay intact: Meezly prepares, you (or your bookkeeper) post.
- Approved invoices pushed as draft bills (ACCPAY) with line detail
- Venue splits mapped to a Xero tracking category automatically
- Standard Xero OAuth connection (no passwords shared, disconnect any time)
- If the Xero connection has a real problem, Meezly emails the account owner
The cross-check most tools skip
Pushing data is easy. Trusting it is the hard part. Meezly checks the connection in the background and emails the account owner when something does not line up: a bill missing on one side, a sign-in that has expired, a total that changed. You find out when it happens, not at month-end.
Built around a UK hospitality workflow
VAT-aware line items, per-venue tracking, and a review step before anything is filed, because a restaurant group’s books have rules, and automation should follow them, not flatten them.
Questions, answered
How do invoices get into Xero?
Once you've approved an invoice in Meezly, it's pushed to Xero as a draft bill (accounts payable) with line-level detail. Draft, not final: your normal Xero approval flow still applies, so nothing posts behind your back.
How do multi-venue costs show up in Xero?
Venue splits map to a Xero tracking category, so a delivery shared between two sites arrives in Xero already split, and your per-venue P&L in Xero just works.
How does Meezly connect to my Xero account?
Through Xero's standard OAuth connection: you sign in with Xero and grant access; Meezly never sees your Xero password. You can disconnect at any time from either side.
Do I still need my bookkeeper?
Meezly does the reading and typing, not the accounting. Most operators find their bookkeeper stops doing data entry and starts doing the useful parts (coding review, VAT, month-end) with cleaner data to work from.
